A name rooted
in heritage

The name Darani is derived from the Dharug language, meaning ‘tree’ or ‘ghost gum’. The Dharug people are the traditional owners of much of the land that is today known as Sydney. By drawing from this origin, the name Darani reflects a respect for place, history and the enduring spirit of the Australian landscape.

Sustainable materials
with purpose

Darani bags are manufactured from Repreve® or Recycled Cotton materials. Repreve is a recycled fiber made from plastic bottles that would otherwise be headed to our oceans or landfill. Whist recycled cotton is used cotton fabric converted into cotton fiber that has be reused in our textile products.
