Zonta House Refuge Association

Zonta House Refuge Association is a provider of support services for women affected by family and domestic violence. The team collaborated with Look Brilliant, leveraging their existing relationship, to actualise their vision for custom branded shirts and promotional products.

Assisting a non-profit in achieving their unique vision

Zonta House wanted to create staff shirts that would acknowledge and connect with First Nations culture, given that they work on Whadjuk land. This was a project of cultural significance and they wanted it done right. The shirts needed to incorporate a design from a Noongar artist they were connected with, Paige Pryor, and communicate the strong connection First Nations people have with various elements of nature and healing. They also wanted a variety of other promotional items, which were produced in smaller quantities.

A reliable guide for a creative process

Zonta House leaned on Look Brilliant to bring their creative ideas to life, while maintaining respect for cultural sensitivities. The team wanted a partner they could rely on for guidance throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with the artist Paige Pryor, Look Brilliant helped materialise the art onto shirts that staff could wear with pride. The prototype was adjusted until it was perfect, demonstrating Look Brilliant’s commitment to quality and detail.

Resonating with the wider community, through carefully designed shirts

The launch of the shirts was marked with a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country, led by Aunty Robyn Collard and her grandson Isiah. This was a proud moment for everyone involved, and the shirts were met with praise from not only from the staff but also the wider community. Many, who didn’t even work for the organisation, expressed their desire to have a shirt, highlighting the success of the project.

Beyond the shirts, Look Brilliant provided Zonta House with a range of promotional products, including coffee cups and stress balls. With a successful partnership forged, Zonta House expressed that they looked forward to an ongoing relationship with Look Brilliant. They trusted us to meet their needs with a personable approach and dedication to quality.
